Large Object Insertion
Some people like large jewelery. Some don't like needles. Sometimes it's much easier to make an incision that can be sutured or tampanated rather than piercing and slowly stretching up. Regardless of the reason, multiple tools can be used to assist with the assorted procedures I perform.
Large gauge piercings (ears, genitals mainly, but theoretically any piercing) can be accomplished with the use of biopsy punches or scalpels, allowing more discretion to procedures depending on body types and desired look. Refer to the aftercare page for information on stretching.

Genital Piercings
Genital piercings come in many different shapes and forms, are done for an extroadinary range of reasons, and generally are more scary than actually painful. Men and women often like the look of certain piercings as well as or more than the feel of them. For some it's about knowing you have something secret that no one else knows of and more than likely doesn't have.
Common female genital piercings are the VCH (Vertical Clitoral Hood), the HCH (Horizontal Clitoral Hood), and labial piercings.
Common male genital piercings include the Prince Albert (through the bottom of the penis and out the urethra), Frenum/Frenulum piercing ("Jakob's ladder"), or hafada (scrotal).

Surface Piercings
I perform surface piercings with the "punch and taper" method of piercing. A biopsy punch removes a small core of skin to the subcutaneous level. I insert an item called a taper (a narrow piece of steel larger on one end than the other, with a rounded tip) into the entry and use it to seperate the dermis from the fascia beneath.
This creates a path from one hole going straight in to a small cavity beneath the outer layers of skin for the jewelery to sit flush and not at odds with the skin around it. This method is much more effective than surface piercings done with a needle, which cannot efficiently direct the path of the fistula.
Surface piercing jewelery should be carefully selected and may need to be modified to fit the specific anatomy of the client or the desired look. Standard piercing jewlery should NEVER be worn in a surface piercing.
